What You Need:
About 20 Whole Pitted Mejool Dates
8 oz softened goat cheese (can substitute with other cheeses if preferred)
About 10 Slices of Bacon (I use the natural, no sugar added) OR Prosciutto.
2 TBSP Italian Seasoning
2 TBSP Honey or Agave
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Prepare the dates by cutting across the top to create an opening.
Using a small spoon, stuff each date with the goat cheese and lightly close together.
Cut each piece of bacon OR prosciutto in half. Wrap the stuffed dates and place on a baking sheet. Top with Italian seasoning.
Bake for about 8-12 minutes and let cool.
Top with a drizzle of honey OR agave and enjoy!
