Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Dates

Total Time: About 25 minutes | Makes About 20 Dates


What You Need:

  • About 20 Whole Pitted Mejool Dates

  • 8 oz softened goat cheese (can substitute with other cheeses if preferred)

  • About 10 Slices of Bacon (I use the natural, no sugar added) OR Prosciutto.

  • 2 TBSP Italian Seasoning

  • 2 TBSP Honey or Agave


Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

  • Prepare the dates by cutting across the top to create an opening.

  • Using a small spoon, stuff each date with the goat cheese and lightly close together.

  • Cut each piece of bacon OR prosciutto in half. Wrap the stuffed dates and place on a baking sheet. Top with Italian seasoning.

  • Bake for about 8-12 minutes and let cool.

  • Top with a drizzle of honey OR agave and enjoy!
