Protein Pesto Pasta

Total Time: About 20 Minutes | Makes 1 Serving


A quick & easy lunch idea!

What You Need:

  • About 2 oz dry of protein pasta (I love the Aldi brand or Banza Pasta)

  • About 1/4 cup pesto pasta sauce

  • 1/2 cup of cooked edamame (I recommend using frozen)

  • Italian Seasoning

  • Optional - 1 TBSP sliced almonds


Directions:

  • Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Set aside and let cool.

  • Microwave the edamame according to package directions.

  • Add the pesto sauce to the pasta and add in the cooked edamame.

  • Top with Italian seasoning. (Option to top with sliced almonds as well). Enjoy!
