Total Time: About 35 Minutes | Makes About 7-8 Servings
What You Need:
2 Boxes of Banza Pasta (or other high protein pasta of choice!)
21 Ounces Chicken Breast (About 3 oz per serving)
1 Can of Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
1/2 Cup Chopped Red Onion
1.5 Cups Ricotta
1.5 Cups Parmesan Cheese
1 TBSP Olive Oil
Italian Seasoning
Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Cook the pasta according to package directions and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, chop the chicken into small pieces and fully cook on the stovetop on a non-stick pan. Seasoning the chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Once Chicken is cooked, set aside and let cool.
Chop the onion into small pieces. On the non-stick pan, add in the onion and olive oil. Cook for about 5 minutes.
Reduce to low/medium heat and add in the pasta sauce. Stir frequently for about 3-5 minutes.
Add in the ricotta cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir for about 2-3 minutes until fully combined into the sauce.
In a large bowl, add the chicken and pasta. Add in the sauce and fully combine.
Separate into 7 meal prep containers and top with parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
