Cherry "Cookie Dough" Sorbet

Total Time: 15 Minutes | Makes 1 Serving

What You Need:

For the Base:

  • 1 Cup Frozen Cherries

  • 1 Frozen Banana (Note - for the best taste, I recommend waiting to freeze until they are ripe, peeling off the skins, and then freezing!)

  • 2 TBSP Coconut Cream

  • Stevia - Optional (Depending on how sweet your bananas are, you can add stevia if you like a sweeter taste)

  • 2 TBSP Almond Milk (can add more, depending on preferred consistency)

For the Cookie Dough:

  • 1/4 Cup Almond Flour

  • 1 TSP Vanilla

  • 1 TBSP Agave (can sub for maple syrup)

  • 2 TSP Peanut Butter (or nut butter of choice)

  • 2 TSP Chocolate Chips

Directions:

  • In a food processor or blender, mix together the ingredients for the base. NOTE - if you want a thicker consistency, I recommend using a food processor! Blend together and set in the freezer while you prepare the cookie dough.

  • In a small bowl, mix together the almond flour, vanilla, agave, and peanut butter until combined. Add in the chocolate chips and mix.

  • Set the cookie dough into the freezer for 5 minutes.

  • After the 5 minutes, remove from the freezer and roll the cookie dough into small balls.

  • Take the "base" out of the freezer and scoop into a bowl or cup.

  • Add in the cookie dough and enjoy :)
