5-Minute Low Carb Mug Cake

Total Time: About 5 Minutes | Makes 1 Serving


A perfect dessert idea that is lower in carbs and refined sugar and takes 5 minutes to make!


What You Need:

  • 1/4 Cup Almond Flour

  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 TSP Vanilla

  • 2 TBSP Light Agave Syrup (can also use pure maple syrup instead)

  • 1 TBSP Melted Coconut Oil

  • 1 Egg

  • 2 TSP of Chocolate Chips

  • Whipped Topping

  • Sprinkles - optional for topping


Directions:

  • In a small microwave safe mug or dish, combine the almond flour, agave, baking powder, egg, and vanilla and stir.

  • Melt the coconut oil and add to the mixture and combine.

  • Add the chocolate chips to the mixture and stir once more before putting in the microwave.

  • Microwave for about 90-120 seconds. Let cool for a few minutes.

  • Top with the whipped topping and sprinkles. Enjoy!
